I moved from Texas to Oklahoma in July of 1997. I guess that makes me a Bubba. That's why this is the Bubba's Bog Blog. There are days that I really feel like a 'bogged out Bubba'. Another part of the 'bog motif' is that I once lived in Kermit, Texas (in my 'oilfield' daze). Which is why my CB handle was 'The Frog'. It may have had something to do with 'Sesame Street'. My wife's handle was 'Silly Goose'. I guess that that's a fairly large bird.

I had a chat with the Tadpole the other night. I told him that, "The morning of my 80th birthday we are going to go squirrel hunting." He gets one shot. If he only wounds me, I'll be really pissed off and not be responsible for whatever happens next. I hate getting shot. It always makes me feel so unwanted.

Hooray for Rev. Peterson. It's about time someone called Jackson to task.
I still can't fathom why any educated black or white person would give him the time of day. We've grown so PC that most are afraid to say he is a leech that lives off others misery.
I think Cindy Sheehan lost any credibility she may have had with any non-liberal when she had her picture taken with the idiot.
Well - this IS news. Not news that I've heard even on my beloved FoxNews. (I've been quite disappointed in my beloved FoxNews for about a year now.)
What Jesse Jackson has been doing is a disgrace. He is a disgrace. God bless that man for standing up to him. Perhaps this will end Jackson's detestable shakedown scams.
This certainly missed the big news wires, not surprisingly though.
